PATROLLERS
A team of eight student patrollers ride the Jacques-Cartier/Portneuf cycling path every day. They will be present from mid-May to mid-October. Each patroller has followed a special training in first aid and a basic bicycle repair course. Besides greeting cyclists they will see that rules and regulations are applied and inform users of the different activities of the area.
RULES AND REGULATIONS
- Get off your bicycle to cross road intersections. Please note that we have provided these gates for your security.
- Do not linger close to homes along the path, please respect local residents.
- Keep to your right except to pass.
- While stopped, keep clear of the pathway.
- It is forbidden to use earphones or Walkman type (stereo) equipment while circulating on the path.
- Alcoholic beverages are strictly forbidden.
