The JCP cycling path

Whether you are a road bike, hybrid bike or mountain bike enthusiast, discover the Jacques-Cartier/Portneuf cycling path, built on the 68-km former railway bed linking St-Gabriel de Valcartier to Rivière-à-Pierre. The majority of the path is surfaced in stone dust, offering a quality cycling surface which is widely appreciated. The bike trail leads directly to Quebec City via the “Corridor des Cheminots”. Access is free.

Bike-shuttle

Did you know that there is a bike-shuttle? Cyclists wishing to ride the Vélopiste Jacques-Cartier-Portneuf without having to make a round trip can use the bike-shuttle service organized by the managers of the bicycle path and available four Saturdays during the summer. Five (5) boarding or destination points are available between Quebec City and Rivière-à-Pierre. In addition, a shuttle taxi is also available at all times by reservation.
